Prof. Dr. Mohamad Tajuddin Mohamad Rasdi is Professor of Architecture at UCSI University. He obtained his Masters and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee (1984, 1986) and the Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (1996). He has authored and published 61 books to date on architectural, social, political, religious and educational issues. He was a columnist in Freemalaysiatoday (FMT), Utusan Malaysia, Sinar Harian, Borneo Post and is still writing for The Star, FMT and Sin Chew Daily. He has received four National Book Awards, a Civil Society Award and a National Unity Award from national bodies, NGOs and private education entities. In 2019, Professor Tajuddin was appointed by as a Member of the Committee for Unity at the Ministry of Unity of the Pakatan Harapan Government and recently he was reappointed under the Unity Government of Anwar Ibrahim. In 2023 he was appointed as a member of the Board of Governors for Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia by the Minister of Higher Education.
